On April 24, our region was proudly represented at the Défi OSEntreprendre Regional Gala in Mirabel. Three local businesses were honored, once again demonstrating the vitality and creativity of our participating entrepreneurs.
Business Creation
In the Services to Individuals category, Autant-Goûter inc. stood out. Located at the Centre Sportif des Pays-d’en-Haut, this business offers cuisine that is both delicious and nutritious, featuring organic and fair-trade ingredients. A flavorful and committed project, true to the spirit of its founder!
In the Technological and Technical Innovation category, AIRMOOD inc. captured the spotlight with a solution that is both innovative and eco-friendly. This company replaces polyurethane with… air! A unique Québec technology for sports and outdoor equipment.
Each award winner received a $1,000 grant to support their growth. In addition, Autant-Goûter inc. and AIRMOOD inc. will proudly represent our region at the prestigious Gala des Grands Prix Desjardins, to be held on June 11 in Québec City.

Réussite inc. Award
The Réussite inc. award, which recognizes businesses still active five years after participating in the Défi, was awarded to the Café O’Margerites Solidarity Cooperative. This award celebrates entrepreneurial journeys where human values, sound management, financial impact, and team spirit are at the heart of success. A $5,000 grant was awarded to mark their remarkable journey.
The Café O’Margerites team still has one more step ahead: among the 17 regional winners across Québec, only five businesses will be selected to advance to the national grand finale in Québec City. We wish them the best of luck for the next stage!

Flexipreneur.e Award from the SADC and CAE Network
Jean-Sébastien Roy, Executive Director of the SADC des Laurentides, presented the Flexipreneur.e Award from the SADC and CAE Network to Sherlin Bonnefin, founder of PAM Métal. A business administration student and entrepreneur at the head of his own company, Sherlin embodies this new generation of entrepreneurs who skillfully balance multiple roles while building strong, forward-looking projects.
This award, offered by the SADC and CAE Network, highlights the atypical paths of individuals who combine entrepreneurship with other responsibilities—jobs, studies, family life—a reality very much present in our regions.
