Since 1998, the SADC des Laurentides has managed the local OSEntreprendre Challenge. Our coordinator collects the registrations and accompanies participants from the Laurentides and Pays d’en Haut RCMs through the contest’s 3 levels.

OSEntreprendre Challenge

The OSEntreprendre Challenge is a major Quebec movement that promotes the entrepreneurial initiatives of more than 47,000 people annually. It is deployed and takes root at the local, regional and national levels. More than 300 representatives are mobilized in all 17 regions of Quebec to help shine the spotlight on projects in their communities.

Sections

Business Creation Section

Are you embarking on a new entrepreneurial adventure? Express your passion, live the experience of a jury, even win a grant, in addition to expanding your network by joining the OSEntreprendre entrepreneurial community!

The Business Creation section of the OSEntreprendre Challenge provides new entrepreneurs with the opportunity to position their project, obtain cash prizes, grow their network and give voice to their passion during the year they launch their business.

Successful Business Inc. Section

Did your business participate in the OSEntreprendre Challenge between 1998 and 2017? Take a moment to look back, appreciate how far you’ve come and inspire others – you might even win a cash prize!

The Successful Business Inc. section showcases diversified models of businesses that have already participated in the OSEntreprendre Challenge, are still operating after five years and have a track record that boasts the following five ingredients of success: achievements, values, finances, forecasts and teamwork. This is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to reconnect with the OSEntreprendre Challenge, take stock of their journey and share their entrepreneurship adventure.

Doing Business Together Section

Does your business work with Quebec suppliers? Dare to share your purchasing practices, inspire other entrepreneurs and become a proud ambassador!
The Doing Business Together section of the OSEntreprendre Challenge showcases diversified models of businesses that stand out for their purchasing practices that prioritize dealing with suppliers across Québec.
Whether it is choosing a hotel or choosing a packaging manufacturer, each decision to do business together has positive tangible economic, human and environmental impacts.

Scholastic Section

The Scholastic section of the OSEntreprendre Challenge supports the development of the spirit of entrepreneurship by shining the spotlight on students who carry out entrepreneurial initiatives. Whether they make an upcycled product in elementary school or launch a new app in university, young people claim a piece of the action and a voice to make decisions, in partnership with school staff. The SADC des Laurentides is not the local organization responsible for the Scholastic section.
