The Chair of the Société d’aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) des Laurentides, Martine Paiement, announces the appointment of Jean-Sébastien Roy as Executive Director.
After 15 years with the SADC, including 11 years as Executive Director, Sylvie Bolduc will step down at the end of December. Sylvie has played a vital role in the economic development of the region, and we are deeply grateful for her dedication. She will pass the torch to Jean-Sébastien Roy, who has been serving as Director of Business Services since 2018.

With her extraordinary leadership, she has brought together regional partners and spearheaded major projects, such as the creation of Synergie Économique Laurentides. Her ability to build strong teams and collaborate effectively leaves behind an organization with a committed team. It is a real pleasure to welcome Jean-Sébastien Roy as Executive Director starting January 1, 2025. We look forward to working with him in his new role,” stated Martine Paiement.
Jean-Sébastien brings extensive expertise in business financing, a service he will continue to oversee as Executive Director. His background in business administration and deep experience in economic development will be key assets in advancing our mission.
To better reflect the evolving organizational needs of the SADC des Laurentides and continue its support for local development, we are also pleased to announce the appointment of Marie-Christine Rhéaume to a newly created position: Director of Local Development and Communications. With her experience in project management and communications, as well as her training in public relations, Marie-Christine will be tasked with driving local development projects and strengthening our partnerships.
These appointments mark an important milestone in our journey and will help sustain our commitment and ability to foster economic development in our region.
