Following the official announcement of the closure of Réseau Mentorat and the Fondation de l’entrepreneurship, the SADC des Laurentides wishes to send a clear message to its community: business mentoring remains active, accessible, and very much alive in our region.
For over 20 years, the SADC des Laurentides’ mentoring hub has been built on a solid foundation—driven by the dedication of its mentors, a committed team, and strong collaboration with local partners, including the Pays-d’en-Haut RCM and the CDE of the Laurentides RCM. The departure of Réseau Mentorat in no way affects the quality or continuity of services available to entrepreneurs.
“The closure of Réseau Mentorat doesn’t affect our mentoring services. Our hub is well established, our mentors are deeply engaged, and our program remains strong. We continue to support entrepreneurs with the same care, consistency, and drive to make a difference.”
– Martine Paiement, Chair of the Board and Mentor
A Locally Rooted, Regionally Supported Service
The SADC des Laurentides’ mentoring hub offers support focused on entrepreneurial mindset and leadership—whether through one-on-one dyads or group mentoring. Each mentoring relationship is based on confidentiality, mutual respect, and a shared desire to grow through experience. Mentoring is a cornerstone of the support offered to entrepreneurs at all stages—from start-up to growth and transition.
“Mentoring is a core part of our commitment to entrepreneurs. Even if the administrative context is shifting, our mission remains the same: to provide structured, human-centred support rooted in the reality of our region. We’re here, and we’re moving forward.”
– Jean-Sébastien Roy, Executive Director of the SADC des Laurentides
Let’s Keep Moving Forward—Together
The SADC des Laurentides extends heartfelt thanks to Réseau Mentorat for its invaluable contribution over the years. We will continue, with unwavering conviction, the mission that drives us: to equip entrepreneurs—both personally and professionally—to build strong, balanced, and resilient businesses.
For current mentees, mentors, and partners, no changes are expected. Pairings, meetings, and follow-ups will continue as usual—with the same team, the same quality, and the same passion.
